MORRINSVILLE NOTES.
BOROUGH WATER SUPPLY.

MORRINSVILLE, Friday.
The Morrinsville Borough Coancil met last evening, the Mayor, Mr. \V. McPherson, presiding. Rough sketches of proposed borough offices from two architects were before the meeting and referred to the Finance Committee for a report. Jn reply to the New Zealand Dairy Company regarding water at the Morrinsville factory, It was decided to inform the company that in the opinion of the council a sufficient supply of water would be available for this season, as the council intended to take measures to conserve tho town supply. The council was not in favour of any reduction in charge being made in consideration of the company storing water. Tho pressure in the town at present is 1201b. The engineer reported that he had gone carefully into the question of a booster set for increasing the pressure 011 peak periods, but that the borough system was not suitable for tho installation of a booster set.
The balance-sheet was returned from the audit office and was adopted. No tags were attached. Several buildiug permits were granted.
