TAURANGA GIRL GUIDES.
The Mayor of Tauranga, Mr. B. C. Robbins, presided .at the annual meeting of the Tauranga Association of Girl Guides. The president, Mrs. F. N. reported that three divisions of Guides were working, total membership being 61. The examiners for badges commented very favourably on the work during the year. The secretary and treasurer, Mrs. Beck, reported that tho total income for_ the year was £42 15s, and the expenditure £39 lis. ' ■ ~, The following officers wore elected: — President, Mrs. Christian; rice-chairman, Mrs. Beck; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. M. P. Muiiro; vice-presidents, Mesdames MacMillan, Robbins, Burton, Smith, Rider, Hetherington; executive committee, Mesdames Rider, Taylor, C. L. Smith, Robbins, G. Jordan, R. Wallace, Misses Adams and Wallace.
