G. BRIDSON BREAKS RECORD.

FAST TIME FOR QUARTER-MILE

A remarkably fine swim over -llOyds. was accomplished by the New Zealand middledistance champion, G. Bridson, of the Grammar Swimming Club, at the Tepid Baths last evening. In a special attempt to lower the existing record of 5m 24 2-ss, held by D. P. Lindsay, Bridson returned 5m 1H 3-ss, which time eclipsed the record by 7 l-ss.
