AN INVALID CHAIR.
Sir,—Enclosed find a small contribution of £1 toward a most deserving cause, namely, the buying of a new chair for that silent hero Mr. Christy. Instead of good Sister Esther appealing to a generous and wholehearted New Zealand public this gentleman should be riding in a limousine, instead of propelling himself in a bathchair. Sister Esther has started the ball' rolling on an errand of indebtedness. It is to be hoped that Auckland keeps it going. Taupoite.
