PRESENTATIONS.
A pleasant function took place at ilia office of the Franklin Farmers' Auctioneering Company, Pukekohe, on Friday evening, when tho directors made presentations to Mr. A. V. Fox. who has been accountant for the past six years 4nd has accepted a position with a city firm. The chairman of directors, Mr. J. Patterson, presented Mr. Fox with a fountain pen, and the man-aging-director, Mr. J. T. Stembridge, presented him with a set of hair-brushes. Both directors made reference to Mr. Fox's excellent work on behalf of tha company. 'Xo take over the position of programme organiser at the Dunedin radio broadcasting Mr. Dudley Wrathall, who has | acted for some time in a similar capacity at IYA, Auckland, left for the Soutb by train last evening. Last week ho Vas farewelled by several organisations in Auckland. The residents of St. Heliers Bay, where Mr. Wrathall lived for 19 years, presented him with a travelling case. On behalf of the staff ab IYA,\ Mr. Len Barnes, station director, presented his colleaguo with an inscribed walking stick, and performers who have been associated with Mr. Wrathall in broadcast programmes presented him with a canteen of cutlery. Mr. Wrathall was also the recipient of a presentation from the St.! Heliers Bowling Club.
