BRADMAN'S FINE BATTING.

The weather was fine and the wicket was in perfect condition. There wero 10,375 spectators. The visitors' team was as follows:—GiU ligan, Dawson, Turnbull, Legge, Duleopfeinhji, Bowlcv, Woolley, Worthington, Allom, Barratt and lJenson. New South Wales batted first and when stumps were drawn had mado 453 runs for five wickets, thus setting the Englishmen a solid task. Bradman treated the onlookers to a brilliant exhibition of scoring strokes, lie compiled . Sixtecu boundary hits wero included in his total. He attacked tho bowling from the outset, and treated all tho bowlers .alike. He scored at doublo the rate of Lis partners, Jackson aud Kippax. ... Jackson was never comfortable and succumbed to a smart catch behind the . wicket. Kippax was moro subdued than usual, and had several "lives." _. After tea, however, Kippax and Marks treated the tired bowlers with scant respect; and the former, having reached his century, opened out and hit two fours, lie was then caught in the outfield. * Allsopp, who is playing in his first big grime,/ proved himself a fine cricketer. He lias made 47 not out.
Tho bowling of the visitors was never impressive, and their fielding was very lux, Duleepsinhji being a brilliant exception. . Details of the score are:—

RESTRICTION TO THREE DAYS

The English cricketers' match against Queensland will be played, but it will be restricted to three days. Andrew Ducat, Queensland's English coach, will be included in the visiting side if the Marylebone Club is agreeable.
