RECOVERY OF KING.
STATEMENT BY PHYSICIAN.
FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH.

Lord Dawson of Penn, Physician-in-Ordinary to the King, proposed the toast of His Majesty at a banquet of the Ro\;al Society of Medicine last evening. He said: "This day last year began the grave illness which nearly cost His Majesty's life. This is a suitable gathering at which to state that the King, in his recovery, goes from strength to strength."
