GETTING LIGHTER.
A college student was brought before the Principal one day. I hear you had a barrel of beer brought to your rooms last Tuesday," said the Principal. " What explanation can you give V " Well, sir, my doctor ordered roe to take a little every day as a tonic." "Is that so, and have you noticed any improvement iu your health?'' "Oh, yes, sir. When the barrel arrived I could scarcely move it. Now I can lift it ease."
