THE LABOUR PARTY.
MANGERE EAST BRANCH. A meeting of friends and supporters of tho Labour Party was held in the Mangore East Hall on Wednesday. Messrs. J. S. Montgomerie, C. R. Potree, T. Drumm, W. Wakefield, members of the Labour Representation Committee, addressed tho mooting, and it was decided to form a branch of the Labour Party. Twenty members were enrolled. Tho following officers were elected : —President,, Mr. E. Clark; vice-president, Mr. A. Merriman ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. E. Mudd; committee, Messrs. Nicholls, Rose, Doverell and Bordman.
