LATE MR. PASSMORE.
The funeral of Mr. W. M. Passmore, an Auckland business man, who died near Kaikofie on Wednesdiiy whilo on tour with the commerco train, took placo at Hillsborough Cemetery yesterday afternoon. Over 100 floral tributes wore received, emblems being forwarded by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, the Kaikohe Chamber of Commerce, the members of the commerce train, the women of Kaikoho and the township of Kaikohe, as well as from the Ropo and Twine-workers' Union and numerous friends. Tha funeral was largely attended, a long cortege leaving from Mr. Passmore's late residence inParnell.
