ANOTHER PLAYER ILL.
BRISBANE MATCH TO • STAND. (Received November 22, 12.15 a.m.) SYDNEY. Nov. 21. One of the English cricketers, Nichols, is suffering from tonsilitis, and will not be able to play against Now South Wales tomorrow. A message from Brisbane says tho Queensland Cricket Association has refused to cancel the mutch with the English team on tho ground that it must keepi faith with tho public. Tho hope is expressed by the chairman of tho association, Mr. Stephens, that tho visitors, in tho interests of tho best traditions of British sportsmanship, will honour tho arrangements.
