LAUGHTER IN COMMONS.
STANLEY BALDWIN'S SON. DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH. (Received November 22, 12.5 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 21. The loudest laughter heard for many days in the House of Commons convulsed tho members this afternoon in connection with a ballot for private members' motions. Mr. Stanley Baldwin's Socialist son Oliver was one of the successful balloters. He stood up and solomnly announced : "I givo notice of a motion on the distribution of wealth." Thy member was at the extreme corner of the back bench among the Socialist "left-wingers." He immediately-sat down without a smile ans the whole House roared with laughter. All eyes were concentrated upon Mr. .Olivor Baldwin's father, the Leader of the Opposition, who was leaning back in his scat with his feet stretched out. agatnst tho table on tho floor of the Houso directly opposite the Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, who, with Mr. Stanley Baldwin, joined in the uproarious laughter.
Mr. Oliver Baldwin alone took tho matter seriously.
