NATIONAL PARK CHATEAU. KING COUNTRY ASPECT. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Tuesday. Views in favour of the sale of liquor at the Chateau Tongariro, National Park, wqre oxpressad last evening by the Hon. W. H. Mclntyre, M.L.C., when speaking at the dinner held to commemorate tho opening of tho chateau. Mr. Mclntyre said in his opinion there would bo no breach of faith with tho Maoris of the King Country if a charter were granted to the management of the chateau for the sale of liquor to guests only. Ho strongly advised the management to apply for a charter, and said he would givQ the application his cordial and active support.
