OTAHUH IP PROPERTY SOLD* SUM OF £15,000 REALISED. A meeting of the council of tha Auck* land Agricultural and Pastoral Associa* tion was held yesterday, the Mr. J. T. F. Mitchell, presiding. It was decided to finally confirm tha sale of a property of 37 acres at Otahuhu owned by the, association to tha challenge Phosphate Company. Members expressed isatistaction at the finalising of negotiations and the price paid, £15,000, was considered an excellent one from the association's point of view. Discussion ensued as to the puirpose for which tha money should be used, several members considering it should be set aside for tha purchase of a showground for the association. It was decided to refer the matter to a sp-ecial committee for a report. Alterations to thei schedule for tha autumn show in February were approved. These provides for a. new children's pony class in the light horses and for new; breeders' classes in the cattle and sheep. /Two special classes have also been added in pigs. New sections were approved for roots and vegetables, fruit, needlework, photography, school. 1 ?, rabbits aad poul* try. : It was reported tha't the Auckland show, had been granted North Island champion* ships in cattie, horses and pigu.
