Public notice iB hereby given {hat at a. Special Meeting of the Waitemata County Council, to be held at the County Council Chambers, Corner of Shortland and Princes Streets. Public notice is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, at its meeting to be held on the 15th day of November, 1929, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of £3OO for the purpose of purchase of material and construction of water races in the Oratia Water Supply District in the Waikumete Riding of the County of Waitemata, as defined by Special Order. Any person haying any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit same in writing to the Waitemata County Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting. The Scholarships are tenable for three years, commencing from the first Term in the year 1030, and consist of Free Tuition at either the Auckland Grammar School or King's College as the parents of the scholars may choose. A maintenance allowance of £lO per annum, payable auarterly. will aho be advanced to each scholar.
