PARROT SPREADS DISEASE. NINE PERFORMERS AFFECTEDAustralian and N.Z. Press Association. BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 20. Theatrical circles in Buenos Aires are distracted by the death of a well-known actor, Humborto Zurlo. There is consternation also over tho critical illness of his loading actress, Carmen Mas, and tho less serious condition of eight other members of tho same company. All concerned contracted a disease from a pet parrot. Tho bird figured in the play. Recently it began to pine, whereupon it was petted and taken care of by tho members of the company. As a result they were attacked by tho same disease. The parrot was tho first to dio. ;
