Ballinger, who was injured by being, kicked by the horse Potoaform in the birdcage at the Masterton racecourse on Saturday, was removed to his home in Kelburn yesterday. On inquiry this evening it was ascertained that Mr. Ballinger was recovering as satisfactorily «s could be expected. Mr. Ballinger won the New Zealand rifle championship nearly 50 years ago* and was the donor of the famous Ba linger Belt.
