A SUCCESSFUL OUTING.

The Auckland Rotary Club's fortnightly luncheon was held yestorday, tho president, Mr. S. Reid, presiding. Visitors included Mr. R. D. Anstead, of Madras, Mr. R. Telford, of Wellington, Mr. R. W. Wallace, of Napier, Mr. V. C. Davies, of New Plymouth, and Mr. C. Wright, of Stratford. -

A suggestion that the Rotary clubs of New Zealand should combine in issuing a mossago of peace and goodwill to every Rotarian in the world was advanced by Mr. C. H. Furness and was referred to tho directors for consideration.

The president expressed satisfaction with tho outcome of a Rotary "forum" hold at Okoroire during tho week-end. About 30 members attended and a very useful and enjoyablo time was spent. Members expressed tho wish that other "forums" should be held during tho summer.

It was announced that tho'so responsible for organising tho Pan-Pacific Rotary Conference, to bo held in Sydney from March 18 to 20 next, were desirous of persuading two New Zealand Rotarians to address tho conferonco.

The speaker for tho day was Mr. D» Robertson, who gavo an address on "A New Member's Reactions to Rotary." Ho was accorded a hearty voto of thanks.
