FILMS OF AUSTRALIA.
SOUND EFFECTS ABSENT*
NO DEMAND IN ENGLAND*
LONDON. Oct. 16,
The hasty importation of gramophone records which would make noises like those of Australian streets is one suggestion toward helping Australia House to solve the difficulty of disposing of a, set of recently-arrived travel films. These are a considerable improvement on previous attempts by Australian cinema men, but it is almost hopoless to distribute them, because of tho absence of sound effects and the congestion of silent feature films on tho market.
