REID CUP COMPETITION.

HAMILTON RETAINS TROPHY.

A cup presented by Mr. R. T. Reid. of Hamilton, was tho trophy competed for in (v challenge clay bird shooting match conducted by tho Hamilton Gun Club at Ruakura yesterday. The trophy was won from Auckland last season by the Hamilton Club. Entries for yesterday's match were received from Hamilton, Morrinsville, Auckland and tho Metropolitan (Auckland) Clubs, each club being represented by eight members. The shoot was from tho 10-yard mark, and 15 rounds each were fired. Tho contest was won by Hamilton, with ft lead, of nine points, over Morrinsville, the runnersup L. F. Ramsey (Metropolitan) and M. Pratt (Hamilton) shot the possible.

Brown). 95, and Auckland (\ Macreadio, F. Seceombe, A. Hanigan, W. Hazard, W. Grant. I. Lomas, C. Hoage. R. E. Farrow), 95. equal. 3. A sweepstakes of 7 birds resulted:—P. ■Tclnvich, C. Seddon. J.
