CHURCH HALL OPENED.
NEW LYNN PRESBYTERIANS.
St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church hall, New Lynn, was officially opened by Mrs. C. Wilson, superintendent of the Sunday school, yesterday afternoon. There was an attendance of about 500 people. Later, a spocial children's sorvico was held in tho hall, those* taking part boing Mrs. Wilson, tho minister, tho Rov. H.- P. Rankin, and the Rov. Rogers. • Tho primarj object of tho hall is for use as a Sunday school, tho church, immediately opposite tho new building, being too small , for the largo number of crnldren attending. During tho opening service Mrs. J. A. Parry sang a solo, "Open the Gates of tho Temple."
