NOMINATIONS FOR SEAT.
Three nominations have been received by tho Papatoetoo Town Board for ths, election of a member to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr. George Hosk-f ing. Tho nominations are:—Messrs. Eric Holdsworth Burton, Septimus Jam<* Edgar Closey and John Franklin. A po of ratepayers will be held on October 29, tho polling places being the public ball# Papatoetoe, and the Manukau County Council office, Shortlnnd Street.
