ROTORUA FIRE BRIGADE.
SITE FOR NEW STATION. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] ROTORJJA, Sunday.; The Rolorua Fire Board mot at tho week-end, Mr. F. Goodson presiding. The superintendent, Mr. T. Anderson, presented a report for the past 16 weeks. This stated that, during the period there had been 13 calls. Tho plant and equipment of tho brigade was in good order. Considering that in the future a moro commodious firo station would bo necessary, a site had been secured in Amohaii Street. Tho reduction of fire insurance premium was, referred to by tho chairman, and Mr. T. Jackson said tho matter had been finalised by tho Borough Council. Tho reduced rates -would coino into force on November I.' This was considered very satisfactory.
