A COMING CONFERENCE
(Received October 12. 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, Oct. Jl.> The newspapers slate that a scheme will be submitted to the Government next week when a further meeting between the coal-owners and the Government in connection with the projected legislation will be held.
Conversations with the miners' representatives also are still proceeding and yesterday the whole situation in the min-i ing industry was further reviewed at an interview between members of the Government, headed by the Lord Privy Seal, Mr. J. H. Thomas, and representatives of the Miners' Federation. The conversations have not yet been completed.
