SCHOONER WRECKED.
ABANDONED BY CREW.

SYDNEY, Oct. 12. A wireless message has been received stating that the auxiliary schooner Bretagno (1028 tons), bound for Samoa from San Francisco, is a total loss. The vessel was abandoned by her crew 15 miles south of the Umatilla lightship when she took a dangerous list. It is thought that an S.O.S. signal received bv the Bluff ratio station was from the ill falctl yesse|.
