WRESTLING.
ALLEY AND SINGH TO-NIGHT.
What promises to be the most interesting ■wrestling match of the present season will take place at the Town Hall to-night, when Tom Alley will meet Naranjan Singh. The fact that neither man has yet suffered defeat in New Zealand adds' lustre to the encounter. Alley has a very fine record with two wins over Farmer Vance, two over Johansson, and one over Clarence Eklund. On the other hand Singh lius defeated tliailic Pollard, Marracf Gardem, Vance and Johansson. It would appear, therefore, that there is little between Alley and Singh. Jho Indian, however, will find Alley aln-elyop-ponent somewhere about his own weigfi • It should bo a contest welt worth seeing, and the booking indicates that th « r ® ™ l { a i-evv lcirtro house. A number ol amateur preliminaries will precede the profession! contest.
