CONSIDERATION IN FRANKLIN

Tho. principle of fostering calf clubs in accordance with tho schcmo put forward by tho Auckland provincial council of agricultural and pastoral associations was approved by tho executive of the Franklin .Agricultural and l'astoral Society last evening. A committee, comprising Messrs. K. G. Clark, A. Best, 11. Horrocks, E. Allan, W. J. A. Moore, C. F. Shiphcrd, A. <J. Melville and W. J. Robinson, was set up to adjust details to conform with conditions in Franklin, and report to a future meeting, with a view to the scheme being put into operation in the Franklin district next season.
