YOUNG MEN'S INSTITUTE.
There was a large attendance for tho 29th annual meeting of tho Wesley Young Moil's Institute, in Wesloy Hall on Saturday, tho Rev. W. Walker presiding. The annual report showed that tho various sports and social activities of tho institute were being maintained with vigour, tho total membership being 74. Tho financial statement revealed a satisfactory position, £386 having been handled by tho club Ueasurcrs. Tho Rov. W. Walker and Messrs. G. Riddell and D. Payno were unanimously re-elected prosident, secretary and treasurer, respectively. Reference was made to tho loss which (ho institute has sustained in tho death of Mr. S. .T. Anibnry, and all stood while a motion of sympathy with Mrs. Ambury was passed. Yesterday being Floral Sunday, the church was suitably decorated. In tho morning the Pitt Street and St. John's Girl Guides paraded. In tho evening Mr. Walker gave an inspiring address on "God in Nature."
