Grave danger to the public services is threatened by the decision of the Enginedrivers and Firemens' Association , at Cessnock to close down two nnassociatod collieries, the Millfield Greta and the Hill End, on Sunday. Three other pits also probably will be closed at the same time and the coal supplies will shrink almost to the vanishing point. _ . . This decision indicates a definite split in the union's ranks.
