PILLION RIDER'S DEATH.
COLLISION WITH TAXI

.As the result of a collision between a motor-car and a motor-cycle at 11 p.m. yesterday a labourer, Ernest Paul Ayers, aged 34, a widower, died in hospital this morning of his injuries. He was riding pillion on the cycle, which crashed into a taxicar driven by William Tilbury!
MISHAP AT HAMILTON.
YOUNG MAN'S ARM BROKEN
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Friday. A collision betwen a motor-cycle ridden by Hector W. Innes Jones, aged 20, son of Mr. H. S, Innes Jones, of Te Rapa, and a light motor-truck occurred in Victoria Street this morning; Jones had an arm broken. COLLISION NEAR OHRISTOHUROH. _____ MAN IN SERIOUS CONDITION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. A young man, J: F. Melvin,« was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. suffering from a fracture of the right leg and cuts on the hands and face as a result of a collision between his motor-cycle and a motor truck on the Main South Road near Templeton this ■ afternoon. Melvin is suffering from shock and his general condition is reported as fairly serious. :■
