ORCHIDS.
SHAM OR REAL!
Orchids aro tho rage, and, no matter whothor they bo sham or real, costly blooms, you will bo quite in tho fashion if you wear ono or two with your evening frock or your afternoon gown, says an Englishwoman. Tho Marchioness Curzon of Kodleston is rarely seen without a spray of her favourite orchids, which sho wears on tho shoulder-straps of an evening frock; and Lady Lavery, tho beautiful wife of tho famous artist, was wearing lovely shaded mativo orchids with a deep rose-pink dress when I saw her at a smart party tho other evening. Lady Lavery is extremely witty and entertaining, and is a groat favourite in the United States, where sho always accompanies her husband on his periodical visits to paint portraits.
