VETERANS' HOME.
A most, enjoyablo concert was given at the Veterans' Homo on Wednesday afternoon by the Victoria League Girls' Committee). Songs and ducts were given by .Miss Marjorio Fair, Miss Ttielma St. Clair Whyte, and Miss Roha Patterson; recitations and sketches by Miss Mavis McCulloch, and Miss Eileen Adkins; pianoforte solos by Miss Linda do Renzy «nd Miss Rountroe; violin solo by Miss Kathleen Venables; and chorus songs by Miss Hutchison, Miss Joyco Nairn, Miss Margaret Clarke, Miss Ray King, Miss Kathleen Venables and Miss Thronson. Major Wallingford thanked the girls for providing a liappy afternoon for the veterans. Tobacco was distributed, and the singing of the National Anthem by ® n ® and all brought an enjoyablo afternoon to a close.
