INTEREST ACQUIRED.
MOUNT COOK MOTOR COMPANY.
A subsidiary interest in the Hotel Cargen is being acquired by the Mount Cook Motor Company, Limited, which owns tho Hermitage, Mount Cook, and tho White Star Hotel, Quoenstown, and has a dominant interest in the Chateau Tongariro at National Park. It is expected that a building scheme for increasing the accommodation at the Hotel'Cargen will shortly* bo considered.
A telegram, from Dunedin states that negotiations are proceeding whereby tho Mount Coolc Motor. Company hopes to obtain an interest in tho Grand Hotel iu that .city.
