Tlie ondoavours of a number of tho settlers .at Parawera, Kihikihi, to Jiayo the school moved to a more central site have been successful after nearly .three years of agitation. , .Advice has now been received that the school is to be moved, probably during.tho midsummer holidays, to a four-acre site given by Mr. P. Balfour, at the junction of tho main Kihi* kihi-Arapuni Koad with the Owairaka Valley Eoad. The school will still bo a native one. It was eslablishod over 30 years ago, when Parawera Pa was a much more populous pluco than it is now. Tho present attendance is about 70, and the number is growing.
