AN INVESTIGATION URGED.

A recommendation from the Finance Committee will be presented to the City Council on Wednesday evening suggesting that a remit be sent to the next Munici. pal Conference, to be held in Inyercargill on March 5, 1930, askingthat the Government be urged to set np a commission to investigate the whole question of the incidence of local body taxation.
