MINISTER FAREWELLED.
CALL TO PUKEKOHE. Tho minister of tho Somervell Momorial Presbyterian Church, tho Rev. J. Patlison, and Mrs. Pattison, who have accepted a call to the Pukekoho Presbyterian chargo were farewelled by their congregation at a social gathering on Monday evening. The splendid work done by Mr. Pattison during his ministry was referred to by other Presbyterian ministers, Rov. G. Budd, Rev. J. A. Thompson and Rev. A. J. Grigg. On behalf of tho congregation Mr. R. Campbell mado Mr. and Mrs. Pattison the presentation of a handsome canteon of cutlory and a cheque, together with presents for members of Mr. Pattison's family. Member:* of church organisations spoke of tho good influence exerted by Mr. and Mrs. Pattison in church work.
