JAPANESE SHIP ATTACKED.
GIRL LEADS THE MARAUDERS

HONGKONG, Sept. 21
After having shown no signs of activity for a year, the Bias Bay pirates, led by a 21-year-old girl who speaks English, attacked a Japanese steamer, tho Deli Maru, between Amoy and Hongkong. Three Indian guards were wounded when the pirates opened fire without warning. Tho officers were overpowered and could make no resistance.
Tho only booty secured was £2OOO in money and jewellery taken from the passengers. This is the first Japanese ship that has over been attacked by Bias Bay pirates. ___
