INJURIES PROVE FATAL.
WOMAN MOTORIST'S DEATH.

CHRISTCHURCH. Sunday.
The death occurred at the hospital last evening of Mrs. G. Hodge who was injured in a motor-car accident at Clarkville on September 1. The car, in which Mrs. Hodge, her husband and two other people were riding, capsized when a wheel collapsed following a skid in sorno gravel.
FALL INTO SHALLOW DRAIN.
MAN DIES IN HOSPITAL,
[by telegraph.—press association.] PALMERSTON NORTH, Sunday. The death occurred in the hospital yesterday of Robert Waller, aged 67, as a result of an accident, fivo days before, when ho fell into a shallow drain and broke an ankle.
