PAEROA MINIATURE CLUB. MATCH FOR CLUB TROPHY, Another very successful night's shooting resulted on Wednesday evening at tho loca' Drill • Hall, when members of tho Pneror Defence Miniature Rifle Club shot for u trophy given by tho club. Thero was <i good attendance of members and tho shooting wns again of a very high standard. Th< conditions wero 10 shots and one sighter—the limit with tho handicap being 100. Although tho handicaps wero conuiderablj reduced from last week's shooting, fiv© members with their handicaps reached the limit, which necessitated them shooting off. In tho shoot-off each mcmbor'3 handicap was reduced, whero possible, to tho difference ol his original ehoot and 100. Eventually Cadet Albert Simmonds won tho trophy. Captain 11. Simmonde being close up second, tho latter just missing his second possible for the night by a very email margin. Following are the scores;— Captain H.
