SEVENTEEN LIVES LOST, IN EXPLOSION IN NEW BRITISH CRUISER. H.M.S. Devonshire arriving at Devonport, England, from the Eastern Mediterranean, where a fatal explosion recently occurred in the turret of an Bin. gun. The accident, was caused, presumably, through the explosion of the gun as a result of a misfire or flareback.
