FINE OF TWENTY POUNDS.

On a chargo of being intoxicated whilo in chargo of a motor-lorry in High Street on July 4, Samuol Lunn Lewis, a crjrponter, was fined £2O in the Magistrate's Court to-day before Mr. J. Miller, S.M. The chargo was a sequel to a collision with another lorry. Lowis also agreed to take out a prohibition order and on that condition tho magistrate said ho would not caucol accused's driving licence. In view of his physical disability accused was given six weeks in which to pay tho iino.

J, who appeared ' accused, said his client had been out ut work for some timo and had recently got a position as a salesman. To hold this position it was necessary for him to drivo a car.
