ACCOMMODATION FOR PUPILS
ARRANGEMENTS AT WANGANUI.

WANGANUI, Thursday.
. Although tho main building of the Wanganui TfchfTical College was closed only yesterday, following on the departmental announcement that it was structurally unsafe, the scholars have already been provided with as many classrooms as they were deprived of. The main accommodation is provided ih St. Paul's Church hall. Apart from this there are ten rooms on tho premises of the college which are not connected with the main building, as well as the workshops.
The department is erecting six marquees for use for about a month, by which time six classrooms are to bo built on the college ground. Practically the only rooms away from the school will be those at St. Paul's hall. It is expected tfeat arrangements of tha temporary accommodation will bo completed by Wednesday Or Thursday of next week at tho latest. On one of these days the classes will be recommenced. Very likely it will bo possible to conduct evening classes from next Monday.
