LIQUOR FOR MAORIS.
WHISKY ILLEGALLY SOLD.
LABOURER HEAVILY FINED.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] BAETIHI, Thursday. For selling whisky to Maoris in a proclaimed no-licence area James Coylo,' of Raotihi, a labourer, was fined £SO in the Raetihi Magistrate's Court to-day. On another charge he was fined £lO. He was also finod £lO on a charge of supplying Maoris with whisky for consumption off licensed premises, and convicted and ordered to pay costs on two further charges.
