Two Sydney tramwaymen risked their lives in a desperate strugglo on the edgo of "The Gap" last week, with a man who expressed his determination to throw himself into tho sea.

Tho tram driver and the conductor noiselessly crept upon the man and grappled with him. He fought wildly to break from their grasp, and a breathless strugglo occurred near the brink of tho precipice. Finally tho man was overpowered and given into the custody of two policemen.
