THEFT FROM SHOP.
MONEY JAKEN FROM TILL.
Tho retail premises of the Hydra Bacon Company, Limited, at College Hill, were broken'into on Tuesday evening, and the sum of £4 5s was stolen from the cash register. Two hams, valued at 15s each, ■were also stolen. A few months ago a safo in the strong-room of the same building was blown open and a large amount of money was taken. Tho discovery was made by a constable before midnight. ' The door of the shop, opening on to College Hill, had been forced, and the till was broken open. It appeared that the thief went to the till on hands and knees, judging from the marks which showed clearly, on the saw* dlust.:
