"THE GLUGS OF GOSH."
Sir, —For some time past I have been endeavouring to find tho key to C. J. Dennis', "The Glugs of Gosh," but so far without success. Perhaps one of y6ur readers could enlighten mo as to whether "Gosh" and "Podge" therein referred to are specifically intended to represent certain countries ? I should also like to know the exact meaning of tho "Guffer Bird" and the "Feasible Dog." 1. C. McF.
