TWO TWENTY POUND NOTES
ACCUSED ALREADY IN PRISON

In tho Police Court to-day Reginald Eugene Scager, who is at present serving a sentence of two years' imprisonment for breaking, entering and theft at Hawcra, was charged with the theft of £4O in Auckland on March 13. Accused ploaded guilty and was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, to bo concurrent with the present sentence. Sergeant McGregor said that accused had been staying with' a friend, Thomas Lionel Grice; in Ponsonby Road, Auckland. Grice had two £2O notes in his pocket and accused stole them and disappeared. Ho had admitted the theft to the police.
