Judgment was delivered to-day by the Chief Justice, the Hon. M. Myers, in the case in which May Santos, of Waitajigi, Chatham Islands, claimed £934 4s :2d from Piri Pomare, sheepfarmer, also of Waitangi, for goods alleged to have been supplied to defendant's wifoy/ietween 1910 and 1925. His Honor said he had carefully considered each and every item in the particulars contained in the statement of chum, and also the representations marie by both counsel, and had come to the conclusion that the plaintiff ought to have £5lO, it, having been agreed that she should take back a tea and coffee set iiiid diamond ear-rings. Tn fixing the amouni he had takon into consideration the question of costs, and judgment was without costs. //
