LADIES' ASSOCIATION
A meeting of flic executive of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association was presided over by Miss 'P. 11. Dawson. Delegates representing Hie following centres were present:—Northern Wairoft, Kangitailti,. Wnihi, Waipa and Whanofarei subassociations.
Tho personnel of the Auckland A team for the New Zealand tourney commencing at. Gisborne on Autrnst 20 v.-ns? announced as follows Goal, Miss E. Dunning: fullbucks, Miss McEntcer, Mrs. M. Martin; halfbacks, Misses 1). Care, V. Shand, O'Neil: forwards. Mrs. HcLeod, Mrs. Uuuiblin, Misses G. Lowe, tf. Craig. I. Hyde. Reserves: Backs, Misses Cherney, I. Hemic; forwards, Misses D. Hyde, M. Montgomery.
The team will leave Auckland by train for ltotorua next. Monday nnd proceed to Gisborno by bus on Tuesday. It was decided lo ask .Mr. B. Cooper to net us manager, and Mrs. Cooper a3 chaperonc, for tho team to be sent to Thames on August 31.
