CHINESE GARDENER FINED.
Charged with working an unshod horso on the road and thereby causing it unnecessary pain Wong Quan, a Chineso market gardener, was fined £5 and costs by Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., in the On«hunga Police Court yesterday morning. Sergeant J. A. Cruickshank stated thu horse was driven through Onehunga unshod and -the aniu:al's hoofs were worn. Constable E. T>.
